Job Location: Work will be performed remotely and at the Company office. Meetings may be required at client offices and other locations throughout the Southwest Florida community. Some travel outside of Southwest Florida is required.

Time Commitment: This is a full-time position of 40-hours per week. Some evening and weekend hours will be required to fulfill client needs.

Purpose: Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating communication, marketing, and public relations activities for clients. Coordinate communication, marketing, and public relations projects for the Company.

Job Tasks:

Digital Marketing and Communications

  • Develop and manage targeted marketing lists for Company and clients using the CRM system for Company and / donor management systems for clients
  • Coordinate the planning, design, and dissemination of digital marketing and communication materials for Company and clients (to specifically include e-newsletters, blogs, social media posts, online event promotions, etc.)
  • Manage drip marketing campaigns for clients and Company, including pathway creation and design
  • Maintain Company CRM (Active Campaign), including tracking and reporting of clients and prospects.Plan content that aligns with overall marketing and communications strategies
  • Research and gather content from others, such as conducting interviews, requesting photos, videos, comments, etc., and purchasing stock images, when approved
  • Create original content, such as taking photographs, creating, and editing video content, and writing stories for e-newsletters, blogs, social media posts, etc.
  • Design e-marketing templates for Company and clients
  • Manage website content for Company and clients, and ensure integration with CRM, social media, and other online marketing methods
  • Work with website developer to create new websites
  • Track and report website interactions using analytics
  • Set goals for increasing social media presence for Company and clients
  • Assist Company and clients in establishing and growing a following on their social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Publish original content, strategically share and like posts, and coordinate sharing and liking by Company staff and clients on their personal social media accounts
  • Track and report response to social media posts and advertisements using analytics
  • Provide coaching and support for clients on digital marketing strategies

Media Relations

  • Prepare press releases for Company and clients and submit to supervisor for approval
  • Distribute approved press releases to media contacts
  • Manage the production and distribution of advertisements and PSA’s (for print, radio, and television) for Company and clients
  • Update media contact lists for Company and clients
  • Follow up with media contacts by phone and email
  • Coordinate with media sources for publication of online advertisements according to budget
  • Coordinate with other public relations, marketing, and graphic design professionals on behalf of Company and clients
  • Provide coaching and support for clients on media relations

Graphic Design, Production, Publication

  • Gather/create content for and coordinate the design and production of brochures, programs, banners, media kits, infographics, sales sheets, and other collateral materials
  • Edit content for collateral materials as needed using Canva, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Lead and coordinate projects with other graphic design professionals and graphic design interns
  • Coordinate the design of e-newsletters for Company and clients, prepare them for distribution, and publish approved newsletters
  • Coordinate the design other e-marketing templates for Company and clients
  • Coordinate development and placement of online advertisements

Brand Development

  • Assist Company and clients in further developing and fine-tuning their unique brands
  • Promote brand recognition through development and distribution of collateral materials for Company and clients
  • Promote brand recognition through development and distribution of digital marketing materials for Company and clients
  • Coordinate on branding with other marketing and graphic design professionals on behalf of Company and clients
  • Provide coaching and support for clients on branding strategies


  • Meet with supervisor

  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, handouts, and meeting minutes
  • Facilitate online meetings
  • Research information for use in marketing and communications
  • Prepare reports on work activities and progress toward Company objectives
  • Keep track of and report time on Company timesheet
  • Collaborate with other Company employees and interns
  • Participate in professional associations in marketing, communications, and/or public relations
  • Stay informed on the latest developments within the marketing, communication, and public relations fields
  • Participate in professional development activities approved by supervisor
  • Participate in strategic planning and other company-wide activities
  • Other general duties in support of the Company’s marketing and communication strategies

Education and Experience


Bachelor’s Degree required (degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism preferred)


Experience in marketing, social media, graphic design/publication layout, nonprofit or corporate communications and public relations required (at least three years preferred)
