Wounded Warriors of Collier County

Established in Collier County, Wounded Warriors of Collier County (WWCC) is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. The mission of Wounded Warriors of Collier County is to assist with the needs of local Veterans and their families, with a focus on education, housing, and mental health. The vision of Wounded Warriors of Collier County is to see that “No Veteran is Left Behind” in Collier County.

Warrior Homes, a WWCC signature program, provides a healthy and safe living environment for Veterans in need of a hand up, not a hand out. Started in 2019, Warrior Homes is the result of the community coming together to address the homelessness issues faced by local Veterans. Residents of Warrior Homes primarily transition from the Collier County Veterans Treatment Court, David Lawrence Center and St. Matthews House. The first Warrior Home, Alpha House, opened its doors in January 2020.

Wounded Warriors of Collier County, in collaboration with community efforts, holds two major annual fundraisers, dedicating all proceeds to assisting Veterans in Collier County. The organization also publishes an annual Resource Guide for local Veterans, which includes useful contact information and available resources for Veterans in Collier County.
