Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida’s (JA) purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Each day JA works to help students discover the vast possibilities in life by helping them connect what they learn in school with life outside the classroom.
One of its newest and most exciting programs, JA Inspire, will launch 10,000 Lee and Collier County middle school students on an interactive career exploration. This will be the largest career expo in Southwest Florida history, with thousands of students scheduled to connect and explore career opportunities with nearly 100 of the region’s top employers and business professionals. JA Inspire gets students one step closer to finding their passion, earning a college degree, and achieving career success.
The Soukup Strategic Solutions grants team is an honored partner with JA as they work together to achieve JA’s fundraising goals. Most recently, our President, Sheryl Soukup, volunteered at two JA Career Connect sessions. She visited local high schools with fellow professionals to discuss her successful career path and to motivate the next generation. We look forward to another year of partnership with an organization delivering such meaningful work to the community!
