Melanie Pugh, is a Consultant for Soukup Strategic Solutions, with over 14 years of experience in the nonprofit and education-based sectors. Her career has focused primarily on fundraising, event support, stewardship, database management, and fostering purposeful relationships and experiences for organizational stakeholders.

With a background in child-centered missions, Melanie finds joy working alongside mentors and peers focused on creating impactful experiences and memories for diverse audiences. Thriving in a cooperative team structure, she is a pragmatic and creative problem solver.

Melanie received her BA in Communications and Public Relations from Mississippi State University. Originally from Mississippi, she has worked and lived in Ohio and Vermont and now lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband Alex. She and her husband are both champions of the Oxford comma, frequent travelers, silent disco connoisseurs, and constant party hosts.
