Stanton Lee Cadow is a consultant at Soukup Strategic Solutions, coaching nonprofit clients on topics such as major gifts cultivation, operations management, volunteer and board training, annual appeals, communications, grant writing, and stewardship. He specializes in conducting feasibility studies, major gift efforts, and capital campaigns.

Stanton’s professional experience includes Campaign Director for United Way, President of Cadow & Associates Fund Raising Council, Director of Development & Stewardship and Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of St. Augustine and Vice President of Institutional Advancement, St. Andrews University in North Carolina. Throughout his career he has raised or assisted in raising more than $107 million through major gift programs, community, and capital campaigns for non-profit organizations across the nation.

A native of Greater New Orleans, Stanton graduated from East Jefferson High School in Metairie, Louisiana, attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, the University of West Florida, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. In 1982 he graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond with a B.A. in Communications.

Stanton has been a CFRE (Certified Fund-Raising Executive) since 1994; President Emeritus of the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter of AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals); former member of the Palm Beach and First Coast Chapters AFP Board of Directors. In November 1997, Cadow was also the first recipient of the AFP Greater Baton Rouge Chapter Brother Donnan Berry Outstanding Development Professional.  Again, in November of 2016 Stanton received the Most Outstanding Development Professional Award, First Coast Chapter of AFP in Jacksonville, Florida.

In his spare time, Stanton competes in triathlons, masters swimming, enjoys golfing and often you’ll find him cooking Louisiana cuisine. He also has 4 siblings and somehow still found the time to be an avid world traveler who has seen 6 continents while visiting over 30 countries!
